Animation's poses and timing are referenced from this gif image of Adult Simba.
I didn't think it would be a big deal since it was referenced from the original movie... until I realized it was actually slightly different!!!!! I'm sorry, gif image maker. I would love to credit you but I don't know who you are. ;__; Ahhh, if only I knew how to rip image sequences from Youtube videos.
I think reverse-engineering any Disney animation would be too daunting for me right now. >.>
Now you know why I haven't been on here for awhile... and the fact I just got Final Fantasy: Dissidia (that game is CRACK). Around two weeks ago, I thought, "lawl, wouldn't it be cool to animate Lion!Sora doing Hakuna Matata in DISNEY STYLE???" And while doing this exercise, I have opened my eyes to the horrors of Clean and Consistent. D: THIS ISN'T EVEN PIXEL ART. DDDD: A line can be sliiiiiiightly off between two frames and it'll do this weird seizure dance. And there's STILL inconsistencies, errrrg. I guess I can go a little easy on myself since I never attempted to clean/color an animation before. I feel like a huge wuss since there's only 12 frames in this. e_e; My poor brain. Now I know why so much animation is outsourced. >_> Professional clean-up artists are godly in my eyes now.
Biggest lesson: When doing my own animation, I will never ever ever try to make lineart this clean. EVER. Unless I have underpayed outsourced workers- *SHOT*
Now I can move on from Lion!Sora and do some other stuff... yeahhh.... @_@;;;;
LOL ALL I DID WAS COMPLAIN IN THIS DESCRIPTION. XD
If you're interested in seeing the steps I took, here ya go:
